From the President-- Andrew Fass Get Set for Year End! As 2005 comes to a close, we wanted to review some important information that will assist you with your year end processing. As part of your annual maintenance, AVF will provide you with the updates to your tax tables and any updates to the standard form layouts at no additional charge. These updates will be distributed by email, so please provide us with the email address and contact name of the person responsible for receiving the tax updates. In addition, please specify the jurisdictions you report to. Please note that AVF Consulting is prepared to assist you in your year end preparation; however, any services rendered by AVF Consulting on your behalf will not be considered part of your annual maintenance and will be billed on a time and materials basis (with the exception of the tax and form updates as previously specified). AVF News & Events Welcome AVF's New Employees, David Maxwell and Meredith Mitchell: David comes to AVF from Engineered Systems and Solutions, a Pittsburgh distributor where he managed the company's use of Microsoft Navision for supply chain management and warehouse logistics. David has been hired as a Consultant because of his strong project management skills and Navision knowledge. Meredith is a Towson University student majoring in Mass Communications and Communication Studies. She is currently interning as a Marketing Assistant. Year End User Group Meeting: AVF is holding its annual User Group Meeting where we will cover Year End issues.
