Thanks Year End User Group Attendees: Thanks to everyone who attended the 2005 year end user groups. Both meetings went very well and we were so happy to see all of you! Hope the rest of your year goes smoothly! Mark Your Calendar for Convergence 2006! We’re excited for Microsoft's 10th annual Convergence event! Convergence is an annual conference where Microsoft users from all over the world gather to share information and resources. Convergence 2006 will take place in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, March 25th through Tuesday, March 28th, 2006. It is a very insightful event that provides customers with knowledge and tools to help them make full use of their Navision investment. AVF encourages all who can attend to do so! Visit Convergence 2006 for more details. International Navision User Group: Have you heard about the newly developed International Navision User Group? About six months ago, several Navision thought-leaders met at a Microsoft conference and decided to form an international Navision User Group. NUG, as it's known, was created with the intent to maximize value for individuals and companies using or interested in Microsoft Navision. More information and membership applications can be found online at www.navug.com. Microsoft Dynamics NAV: In September's newsletter, we introduced Microsoft's name change of Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. You may have already seen this change in Microsoft's advertising. For details, read the article in September's Insight eNews. Emergency After-Hours Services: AVF is now able to assist you with your IT and Microsoft Navision needs day and night. Signing up is free! You are only billed when you use the service or request Emergency After-Hours work. Let us know if you are interested, contact Lottie Gruzs at support@avfconsulting.com or 410-296-5100. Opening the Same Window Multiple Times in Navision 4.0 It is helpful to open multiple application windows in Navision. An example would be to open two different vendor cards to compare the data. In versions prior to Navision 4.0, you would simply click on the menu item vendor twice to view two different vendor cards. This is not possible in Navision 4.0. First open the vendor window. Next, right click on the vendor card shortcut and select “Open in New Window”. You can now compare the data from multiple windows at the same time.
