Change Log The Change Log can be set up and activated to log record insertion, modification, or deletion. This is helpful in tracking changes made to the system. The Change Log Setup List Window lets you specify what the program must record for a given table. Typically you would not want to set the Change Log to record all table changes, as this would quickly increase the size of your database (i.e. setting it to record insertions made to the G/L Entry table would record every G/L entry). Instead, we recommend setting the Change Log to record and track changes to key master tables like the G/L Account, Customer, or Vendor tables. Setting up the Change Log in this way will provide you with a record of all changes to the G/L Account, Customer, or Vendor Cards and a copy of the original entry. The Process for Accessing the AVF Consulting FTP Site has Changed! In response to a number of requests, AVF Consulting has changed the process for accessing our FTP site. When a customer logs on to the FTP site, they will be logging on to their company FTP folder. Logging on to the FTP folder now requires a company specific username and password. The new process will provide an extra layer of security and ensure that our customers' data is kept private at all times. The process for accessing the FTP site is outlined below. AVF Consulting, Inc. supports access to the FTP site by use of Microsoft Windows Explorer through Windows XP or Vista. It is recommended that you use the most current version of Windows XP or Vista (latest Service Pack) in order to successfully connect to and access the FTP site. At anytime should you experience an issue with accessing the AVF FTP site, please feel free to contact our Customer Care team at (410) 296-5100 or submit a ticket into the AVF Helpdesk at www.avfconsulting.com/helpdesk and someone will be more than happy to assist you. How to access the FTP site: 1. Open Windows Explorer (Start > Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer). 2. In the address bar, type in ftp://ftp.avf.us and press Enter.

The username is not case sensitive, but the password is case sensitive. (See figure 1) NOTE: If you do not have credentials, please contact Customer Care who will provide you with your own credentials to FTP. 4. Once you log in, you will see two folder options: a.
