Tuscarora School District Purchases Microsoft Dynamics NAV Financial Management Software

Baltimore, MD – May 5, 2008 – Tuscarora School District joins Microsoft Gold Certified Partner AVF Consulting’s customer family after selecting Microsoft Dynamics NAV to replace their current system. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a fully integrated financial and human resource management solution, and will enable Tuscarora to better meet the needs of a modern school district. The school district oversees 2,600 students and 320 employees.

Tuscarora chose Microsoft Dynamics NAV after comparing it with other financial management software from four major competitors. Familiarity with Microsoft products was a major factor in their decision.

Perhaps most importantly, Microsoft Dynamics NAV was within Tuscarora’s budget. "We want to be more efficient in how we use the taxpayer’s money and provide better service to our clients/employees and the taxpayers," explains Kerr.

Tuscarora’s old system was basically a green-screen system capable of recording transactions, but provided no business intelligence. With Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Tuscarora will be able to access data much more quickly and easily.

Kerr also discussed the importance of working with a team committed to meeting the needs of their school district. "We think service is most important and feel comfortable with the AVF team."
