Central Bucks, Pennsylvania's Third Largest School District, Chooses Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Flexibility, Reliability and a Partnership with Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, AVF Consulting, Inspire the Purchase of Microsoft's Financial Management Software

Baltimore, MD – February 29, 2008 – With the purchase of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Central Bucks School District becomes the largest district in AVF Consulting’s customer family. Excluding Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Central Bucks is the largest school district in Pennsylvania, overseeing 20,400 students and 2,500 employees.

"We were looking for a software package that can easily be adapted to the changing needs of school business operations," says David Matyas, business administrator for Central Bucks. The district had been using Pentamation for over two decades and decided it was time for a change.

"We are a school district that has significant enrollment growth and feel Microsoft Dynamics NAV will make us more efficient and eliminate the need to hire additional staff," discussed Matyas. "The software shares information seamlessly with other applications such as our student information system, our food service Point of Sale, our time and attendance system, and our community school education system. It will also provide better on-line documentation to meet the needs of our auditors and simplify the auditing process."

AVF Consulting’s experience with other Pennsylvania school districts led to the creation of a software package specific for the PA school district market. Given their size and complexity, Central Bucks desired further customizations. Because of NAV’s flexibility, AVF was easily able to customize the system and further accommodate Central Bucks’ needs.

Central Bucks began the implementation process in January and plans to go live in March.
