ASCD Selects Serenic Navigator Financial Management Software for Stronger Reporting and Better Workflows
Leading Microsoft Partner, AVF Consulting, to Provide Implementation Services
Baltimore, MD (11/15/12)— ASCD, an international membership association serving educational leaders, has selected AVF Consulting, a Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) partner specializing in software and services for nonprofits, to implement Serenic Navigator financial management software. The prepaid expense recognition and the portals are also a huge plus for us.”
Serenic Navigator gives Taylor’s team the ability to create reports based on any general ledger account segment, allowing them to produce specific reports more easily and quickly. “We expect that the efficiencies we realize through Serenic Navigator will allow us to improve the timeliness and relevance of financial reporting and improve the end user experience,” says Taylor.
ASCD will contribute to their goals of going green through Serenic Navigator’s Check Request and Approval Processing portals, which eliminate the paper trail associated with these processes. Checks are requested and approved online, significantly reducing paper, ink, and energy use. Members of the finance team can now spend more time on strategic initiatives and less time on paperwork. Another benefit of electronic Approval Processing is that auditors can easily review who approved a payment and when, streamlining the audit process.
Serenic Navigator also provides vendor ACH payments, which allows vendors to be paid electronically, eliminating the need to print and mail physical checks. “Going paperless is a goal for our team that will create efficiencies and help to reduce our carbon footprint,” says Taylor.
